We are opening registration for our ALIMKids Playgroup LEVEL 2 starting this Saturday 11:45am at ALIMKids Bookshop, USJ. Level 2 is designed for children between 3+ to 4yrs old.
Below are the content of LEVEL 2:
The year round Level 2 of ALIM Kids Playgroup utilizes 6 modules with 8 different units. Each module has its own theme. Throughout each module, our goal is to make the theme come alive for your child, so that he is always completely engaged in his session. Our more unique themes include:
1) Awareness of being a Muslim and the Khalifah of Allah
Basic Islamic teaching:
* Tawheed
* Fiqh – Taharah
* Stories from the Quran
* Stories of the Prophets
2) Literacy and reading readiness:
* Oral language
* Phonological Awareness
* Letter Knowledge
* Print Knowledge
3) Numeracy Concept – Growing with Mathematics
* Numbers and Operations
* Algebra
* Sorting and classifying concrete objects or pictures
* Identifying, describing, creating, copying, and extending patterns of sounds, actions, or objects
* Writing number symbols
4) Active Play
* Constructive play time activities
At the moment, our Level 1 session is full. However, if you are interested to join the playgroup on a weekday do let us know. Insya Allah when we have enough children, we can start the weekday session (tentative Thursday afternoon)
